A Study on the Change of Economy and Population Sturcture of Dashi Town, Panyu city

Since the carrying out of the reform and open policy, a great change has taken place in the economy and population structure in Dashi Town, Panyu City. In the Gross Domestic Production of 1994, the primary, secondary and tertiary industries occupied 8.5%,70.4% and 21.1% respectively. With the population consisting of native inhabitants, residents living in middle and high class residential quarters and migrant workers, the town is gradually changing into a new suburban residential district of Guangzhou City.
