On Persian Empire's Policies towards Jewish People

Completely unlike the other ancient empires, Persian Empire＇s policies towards its subject generally was very tolerant, which was obviously manifested in its policies towards the Jewish people. The tolerant policy of Persian Empire was manifested in three dimensions. Politically, Jewish people not only established the regime of divine self-government, but also gained the status of provincial self-government. Economically, Jewish people＇s burden was transferred from central and provincial burden to central burden.
