论尧斯的“期待视野”

“期待视野”是尧斯接受美学理论中一个举足轻重的概念，是指由接受主体或主体间的先在理解形成的指向本文及本文创造的预期结构，它意味着接受者从自己现有的条件出发对文学作品所能达到的理解范围。文章分析了“期待视野”的内涵，认为“期待视野”是不断变化的，“期待视野”与新作品是相互作用的，人们的“期待视野”与新作品之间存在着一个审美距离。

Jauss' Horizon of Expectations

Horizon of expectations is an important term used in the reception theory of Hans Robert Jauss to designate the set of cultural norms,assumptions,and criteria forming the fore-structure of understanding and shaping the way in which readers understand and judge a literary work at a given time.In this paper,the connotations of the concept are clarified.It is held that such ’horizons’ are subject to historical change,interacting with new literary works.The aesthetic distance between the horizons and the new work enables the readers to see a very different range of meanings in the same work,and revalue it accordingly.
