美国外语教师教育标准对中国大学英语教学的启示

摘    要:回顾了美国20世纪60年代至21世纪初长达50年间外语教师教育标准文件内容,介绍了美国现代语言教师应具备的专业标准、基本素质、责任、义务等;阐述了这些内容对中国大学英语教学带来的启示:教师教育要与职业发展相结合,要从"工具型"教育向"专业发展"教育方向发展,要有开放、动态、灵活的教师教育体系,还要倡导人本主义教育观指导下的教学评价体系。

An enlightment of American foreign languages education to Chinese college English teaching

Abstract:The author briefly introduces some foreign languages teachers' criteria in America since 1960s to the early 2000s,including the basic professional ones,qualities,responsibilities,etc.Inspired by those criteria,she puts forward the following ideas such as a teacher's development should be in accord with his professional one,a teacher should give up the wrong concept of regarding a foreign language as "a tool" rather than as an assitance of "professional development";and some open,dynamic,flexible measures ought to be introduced,in the meanwhile,the evalulation of both the teachers' lecturing and the students' study ought to be under the quidance of humanitarianism.
