论明清小说理论对艺术真实的探索

摘    要:明清小说理论对艺术真实的认识经过了三个阶段:实录观念把历史的准确记录作为真实性;“贵幻”说否定了实录观念,对小说的文学特性加深了理解,肯定了虚构的作用,提出了“幻中见真”的观点:其后出现的写实思想向“实录”回归,但不是简单重复,而是在否定之否定中对艺术真实有了较完善的认识。这个探索历程与当时的小说创作发展是紧密相联的。

Abstract:There are three phases in understanding the artistic reality in Ming and Qing's novel theory. The first phase is the faithful record of the history. The second one is Gui-huan theory, which affirms the role of fiction. The third one is realism, which returns to the faithful record, but not the simple repetition of the history. This exploration process was closely related to novel creation at that time.
