| Abstract: | According to Heine, Literature and art should serve struggles in real life, but he prefers using the romantic way and is considered as one of the predecessors of modernism. During his exile in Paris he had friendly contacts with outstanding French writers and poets. His judgements about George Sand and Victor Hugo show his own literary and artistic ideas. His original opinions about music and painting are a very important part of his thoughts about literature and art. |
