1751年元月,18世纪的政治思想大家卢梭发表了令人震撼的短论《论科学和文艺》(旧译《论科学与艺术》),让卢梭在一夜之间成为整个欧洲的"文化名人"。《论科学和文艺》虽然已成为西方政治哲学经典,引发的争议迄今没有停歇。通过释读这篇文章的前言,指出卢梭写作《论科学和文艺》针对的是他的朋友狄德罗的启蒙计划,昔日的朋友成为敌人。

Rousseau's Distinction Between the Enemy and the Friend:Remarks on the 300th Birth Anniversary of Jean-Jacques Rousseau

In January 1751,Rousseau,the great political thinker of the 18’ century,brought out a shocking brief comment known as the Discours sur les sciences et les arts,making its author a "cultural celebrity" of the whole Europe overnight.Although the Discours sur les sciences et les arts has become a classic of political philosophy in the western world,the controversy that it generated has never ceased.By interpreting the introduction of the essay,the present article holds that Rousseau’s essay was directed against his friend Diderot’s enlightenment program,turning the former friend to an enemy.
