ON OPTIMIZATION STRATEGY OF HIGHER EDUCATION IN HUNAN PROVTNCE Based on Regional Industrial Structure Readjustment

Higher education must optimize its own structure based on trends of the industrial structure readjustment because of the correlation between regional industrial structure and the employment structure.Structural optimization of higher education in Hunan Province includes:optimization of the universities types structure--rationally allocating comprehensive universities,multidisciplinary universities and specialized institutions;optimization of the education levels structure--appropriately developing the training of graduates,undergraduate and specialized technical students;optimization of area structure--balanced development among different regions;optimization of subjects structure--simultaneously transforming and developing subjects;optimization of educational forms-bettering system of irregular higher education ;optimization of investment forms--opening up more channels of funding sources.
