| Abstract: | Based on an analysis of the International Biennial of Tapestry in Lausanne, Switzerland, it is argued that special emphasis should be laid on the value for the existence of fiber art in the broad social context. With some related factors of fiber art taken into consideration, some suggestions will be given on the existence and the development of fiber art. |
