| Abstract: | The western development project is not only an interactive economic activity but also a dialectical process of the conformation of the overall national culture and the minority cultures. The Book of Changes, which is regarded as the origin of the Chinese culture, embodies abundant sense of national affinity, whose deep implication is still of vital significance to the ongoing western development effort. |
