西欧人文主义文化与明朝市民文化

本文主要探讨西欧人文主义文化与明朝市民文化的性质、特点及其社会和思想根源。文章运用比较研究方法，分别考察两种文化之间的异同，追溯了这些＂同＂与＂异＂产生的原因和两种文化发展的不同途径，以期为当前社会主义新文化的建设提供借鉴。

The Humanistic Culture of Western Europe in Comparison with the Civic Culture of the Ming Dynasty in China

This paper deals mainly with the nature, features, and social and ideological sources of the humanistic culture of western Europe and of the civic culture of the Ming Dynasty in China. A comparative approach is adopted to explore the similarities and the differences between these two cultures. Also, the causes of their similiarities and differences are traced, and their different courses of development are examined. It is hoped that these analyses will afford us lessons that merit attention in the current period of our new socialist cultural construction.
