| Abstract: | For some reasons,for a long time,the higher education in China has fallen behind.Accordingly,the higher education lacks proper activity and the capability of competition,which hinders it from playing its proper roles.The time for China to join WTO is drawing nearer and nearer after the agreement between China and the USA.We may predict that to join WTO will affect the higher education in China in a round way by its influences on uneducational fields such as labour markets,agriculture and economy,etc,and that it will also affect the higher education in China directly.Some suitable suggestions are given to the development of the higher eduaction in China by the analysis of its present situation and the possibly direct and indirect effects on it. |
