晚清清军马队营制的演变

晚清以降,中国政治、经济、社会诸方面均发生剧烈且深刻的变化。清政权的军队亦出现新的变化与转型,主要表现为经制军队八旗、绿营渐至衰败,代之以湘、淮军等勇营继起。晚清清军马队营制经历了两次变化,第一次是湘、淮军的勇营制代替了八旗、绿营的马队营制;第二次是由传统马队向近代化的骑兵方向过渡。

The Development of Cavalry Battalion System in the Late Qing Period

In the late Qing period great political,economical and social changes took place.The military organization of the Qing government also underwent new changes.The traditional troops of Eight-Banners and Green-vests were fast falling into decay,and the Yong battalions of Xiang Army and Huai Army replaced them.The evolution of cavalry battalion system in the late Qing period went through two stages: the first was the substitution of the cavalry of Yong battalions for the cavalry of Eight-Banners and Green-vests;the second was the transformation of the traditional cavalry into the modern cavalry.
