兰陵萧氏“皇舅房”之兴起及门风与家学述论

晋宋之间,兰陵萧氏"皇舅房"因与刘宋皇族联姻,地位显赫,成为萧氏家族地位提高的标志,并给整个萧氏宗族在南朝的发展带来了机缘。就门风而言,萧氏"皇舅房"在保持自身寒门重视事功的传统本色的基础上,齐、梁以后迅速"士大夫化",部分家族成员表现出崇尚退隐和笃信佛教的特征。同时,他们在文化上也受到士族社会风气的影响,晋宋以降,其子弟普遍热衷于书法、音乐等艺术;齐、梁以后,他们在文学和经史等方面也积累日丰。

The rising of the "royal maternal uncles' clan" of the Xiao family from Lanling and its family legacies

During the Jin and Song periods,marriages with royals of the Song kingdom marked noted ascending of the status of the royal maternal uncles' clan of the Xiao family from Lanling,and brought opportunities to the whole Xiao family.In terms of family legacies,while maintaining the common family's utilitarian tradition,the clan had become scholar-bureaucratic rapidly since the Qi and Liang periods.Some personages showed inclination for retirement and turned to Buddhism.In the meanwhile,they were also affected culturally by the scholar-bureaucratic atmosphere of the time.The younger generations were interested in arts,such as calligraphy,music,etc.,since the Jin and Song periods.They also accumulated greatly in literature,the Confucian Classics and history since the Qi and Liang periods.
