论古代高等教育中的精英教育

古代高等教育中的精英教育可以追溯至高等教育萌芽之时。东方精英教育源起于美索不达米亚流域地区出现的高等教育活动，后期在古印度、古中国、古巴比伦等古代东方国家的高等教育中也相继出现精英教育形式；西方精英教育雏形萌生于毕达哥拉斯学派，而古希腊的自由教育可以认为是古代西方精英教育的思想和理论的雏形，成为后来精英教育的核心理念——自由教育的源头，也成为整个现当代以通识教育为核心的精英教育理念之滥觞。

On Elite Education in Ancient Higher Education

Elite education in ancient higher education can be traced back to the embryonic stage of higher education. Oriental elite education originated from higher education activities in Mesopotamia basin, and later in ancient India, ancient China, Babylon and other ancient oriental countries. The embryonic form of Western elite education originated from Pythagoras School, while the liberal education in ancient Greece could be regarded as the thought and theory of ancient western elite education. The embryonic form of liberal education, the core idea of elite education later, also became the origin of elite education idea with general education as the core in modern and contemporary times.
