| Abstract: | Owing to cultural differences and incomplete comprehension of the themes of films,mistranslation of film captions occurs from time to time.This paper,according to the theory of cultural conformity and functional equality,puts forward four principles of captioning,i.e.,faithfulness,entertaining,artistry and intellectuality. |
