知识经济的兴起,知识成为重要的无形资本,使人类进入学习化社会和终身教育时代.知识经济的特征决定了其基础是知识,关键是人才,根本在教育.面对知识经济带来的巨大挑战,我国占人口半数的女性素质不容忽视,女性教育状况的落后直接制约着社会进步和人类可持续发展,而实施女性终身教育是把挑战变成机遇的必然选择.本文对女性终身教育的对策探索性地提出要努力实现教育观念、教育手段、教育功能、教育基地的现代化.

Knowledge economy and women's life-long education

With the advent of knowledge economy,knowledge has become an important intangible asset and taken human beings into the times of life-long education. The features of knowledge economy determine knowledge as its basis,talents as its key and education as its core. To meet the huge challenges brought by the knowledge economy, the quality of women accounting for half of all population in China should be not neglected, because the backwardness of women's education will directly impede the social progress and sustainable development. Carrying out the life-long education to women is the inevitable way to transforming the challenges into opportunities. This article made an exploration into women's life-long education and suggested to strive for the modernization of educational ideas,means, functions and bases.
