马尔库塞与吉登斯第三条道路思想比较研究

从内容看,马尔库塞的第三条道路主要是在资本主义和社会主义之间寻找一条中间道路,是立足资本主义社会提出的一条基于资本主义现实问题的解决道路;而吉登斯的第三条道路则是一条介于保守党新自由主义和老工党民主社会主义之间的中间道路,是立足于左翼政党重新执政目的而选择的一条道路。从实现手段看,马尔库塞的第三条道路主要是通过"主动挑衅"和"大拒绝"战略实现的,反对实行议会斗争;而吉登斯的第三条道路则主要是通过议会斗争,获得执政党地位来实现的。从社会基础看,马尔库塞注重社会的最低阶层,而吉登斯则注重中低阶层。相比较于马尔库塞的第三条道路而言,吉登斯的第三条道路更为成熟、完善,也更实用,最后终于实现了上台执政目标。

A Comparative Study on the Marcuse's and Giddens' Third Ways

From the view of content,Marcuse's third way,which was a middle way between socialism and capitalism,was based on the solution to capitalist society's problems while Giddens's third way was one way situated between the conservative party's new liberalism and the old Labor Party's democratic socialism.He chose this way in order that the left wing political party could come into power again.From the view of realization method,Marcuse's third mainly depended on "the initiative provocation" and "the big rejection";what's more,he opposed the parliament struggle,but Giddens's third way intended,mainly through the parliament struggle,to realize ruling party status.From the view of social basis,Marcuse paid more attention to the lowest social stratum,but Giddens paid great attention to the middle and low social stratum.Compared with Marcuse's third way,Giddens third way was much mature,perfect and practical.Finally,he realized the goal of coming into power.
