摘    要:研究大学英语教师的发展模式,更好地促进其专业发展,是全面贯彻以创新精神为核心的素质教育,有效提高教育质量,实现科教兴国发展战略的重要保障。近年来国内外有关学者对大学英语教师的专业发展及其成长规律进行了一系列的探讨,并指出学者型教师与教师新手的区别主要在于知识类型结构的不同以及由此产生的能力差异。
