A Brief Discussion on the Relationship Between the Ethnic Society and the State Power in Southwestern China

In this paper, the author contributes a theoretical discussion on the relationship between the ethnic society and the state power in Southwestern China, which formulated a structure in a long history. In this structure, this paper focuses on two topics on such relation. One is the inter-imagination at both sides of central government and the local society. The imagination constructed a floating and varied boudary between the two sides in history. The other is the policy of the central government toward the Southwestern China, which linked the two sides as a bridge.
