做强高等农林院校建设高等农林教育强国

高等农林教育是我国高等教育体系中的重要组成。基于现阶段我国高等农林院校发展面临的弱势地位、生源不足、经费短缺和毕业生＂下不去＂等困境,从我国的国情出发,需要准确把握建设高等农林教育强国在我国经济社会发展和建设高等教育强国中的战略定位,分层次突出重点,加大国家高等教育政策调整力度,进一步支持＂985＂、＂211＂农林院校重点朝着研究型或研究教学型大学目标加快发展,使若干所院校达到或接近世界同类一流大学水平,重点支持省属地方农林院校建设成教学研究型大学,大力鼓励和扶持以农林职业技术学院为主体的专科学校,继续坚持以发展高等职业教育为重点,建设成教学型大学,为建设高等农林教育强国提供可靠保障。

On Strengthening Higher Agricultural Education and Building a Strong Nation of Education

Agriculture is a significant part of higher education in China.Currently,agricultural universities in China are facing many difficulties including their weak position,decreasing number of student candidates,shortage of funding,and severe employment situation for their graduates.Based on the reality of China,it is necessary to decide the role of strengthening agricultural education of China in strengthening China＇s education as a whole and its society and economy.First some key agricultural universities must be supported to develop into research universities or research and teaching universities so that some of them may be comparable to some of the first-class universities of the same type in the world.Meanwhile,local agricultural universities should be encouraged to grow into teaching and research universities while vocational agricultural colleges should focus on higher vocational training.
