英汉思维差异与EFL写作教学

摘    要:思维与语言密切相关,语言是思维的载体,思维是语言的灵魂。写作既是语言活动,也是思维活动。中国学生在用英语写作时常受母语思维的干扰。了解英汉思维模式差异及其对EFL写作的影响,通过EFL写作教学方法能使学生尽量减少母语负迁移,并有助于他们写作能力的提高。

Abstract:Thinking and language are linked together. Language is the conveyor of thinking , and thinking is the soul of language. As we know, writing is a kind of thinking activity as well as linguistic one. Chinese students are often interfered by Chinese thinking mode when writing in English. This article analyses the influence of English and Chinese different thinking mode over Chinese students EFL writing, and makes some suggestions on how to carry out the teaching of EFL writing so as to help students overcome mother tongue negative transfer and improve their English writing ability.
