21世纪初中国职业技术教育发展前瞻

世界银行在《2 1世纪中国教育战略目标》报告中 ,对中国今后继续发展中等职业教育表示出明显的反对意见。国内类似的声音也不绝于耳。然而文章对此持有不同观点 :中等职业教育在 2 1世纪初实现中国经济腾飞 ,推进国家现代化 ;实现劳动力充分、合理就业 ,变人口负担为人力资源优势 ;提升国民科学文化水准 ,推动高中阶段教育的普及等方面 ,有着不可替代的重要作用。因此 ,发展中等职业教育仍是时代的主题。

Prospect of Development of Chinese Vocational and Technical Education at the Beginning of 21st Century

In the report of Strategic Goals for Chinese Education in the 21st Century written by the World Bank, it shows an apparently opposite opinion to the usual ones that agree to continue developing the vocational secondary education in China during the next several decades, while the same point emerges in the domestic academic society. But this article shows that the vocational secondary education cannot be replaced in the contemporary situation of China, it plays an important role in many aspects. It benefits the jump of economy and accelerates the modernization of China, realizes the reasonable employment of labor power and changes the population burden into the advantage of labor power, improves the scientific and cultural standard of common people and promotes the popularity of the secondary education. Therefore, it is the theme of the era to develop the vocational secondary education in China.
