| Abstract: | The purpose of this paper is tri-fold： to delineate the difference between the role of the attribute in the V＋N phrase and the collocation of nouns and verbs in such phrases; secondly to examine the different forms the V＋N attributes take when translated into the Uyghur; and thirdly to examine the reasons of these different forms from the perspective of valence and semantics. |
