五代“盗贼”简论

五代是个多“盗贼”的时代。官府的压迫剥削、饥荒、军事活动、犯罪活动等，是引发“盗贼”的主要原因。“盗贼”虽有破坏社会秩序的一面，同时也有打击封建统治、保家卫国的一面。啸聚山林，借助宗教以发展力量并且向官军转化，是五代“盗贼”活动的显著特点。严刑峻法、残酷杀戮、以“盗”攻“盗”、利用地方力量防“盗”治“盗”及赦罪招抚，是五代时期封建统治者常用的治“盗贼”的对策，但收效甚微。
