Opportunities and challenges brought to agriculture in the north Fujian as China's entry into WTO

In the north Fujian, there are favourable conditions to produce green products and superiorities to make use of abundant mountainous resources, develop agriculture with special features and produce agricultural products with special features because of its rich species, suitable weather, fertile field and sufficient labour force. China's entry into WTO will provide an opportunity to the north Fujian for its giving full play to mountainous resource superiority and satisfying the demands of international and domestic markets for green agricultural products. It is a key of accelerating structural adjustment, increasing competitive power and economic effects of agriculture in the north Fujian to improve traffic condition, raise agricultural technological level in the way of industrialized management, deepen agricultural product process, strengthen market circulation and information services and develop scientific, technological and labour intensive ecological agriculture.
