| Abstract: | Yu Qian is not only a national hero but also a model of honest and clean official in Ming Dynasty. The traditional education of Confucianism constituted his ethical base for being an honest and clean official. Practical work was his major concern and being royal to the emperor and the country was his ultimate goal. |
