| Abstract: | When translating between two languages, we must take into consideration the languages themselves, races, cultures and aesthetic values, and equivalent translation is, sometimes, not the best way of presentation. This paper carefully studies the translation of poems, idioms, and puns, which most probably involve in differences in language, culture and aesthetic values, and concludes that equivalent translation is not effective in such cases. |
