农业科技必须面向经济结构的战略性调整——关于农业科技为农业和农村经济结构调整服务问题的思考

我国在世纪之交进行的农业和农村经济结构调整中，无论从调整的内在要求，还是从全球经济发展的角度看，农业和农村经济结构调整都与农业科技密不可分，且在发展中相互促进。农业和农村经济结构调整必须依靠农业科技作支撑，农业科技要围绕农业和农村经济结构的目标和重点发挥支撑作用。就广西的现状看，当前农业科技应当抓紧进行选育、引进、推广优良品种；加强农业生产配套技术研究和推广；尽快建设好农业科技新体系。

The Agricultural Science and Technology Must Cater to the Needs of the Strategic Adjustments of the Economic Structure

Our country is now making adjustments in the agriculture and the economic structures in the countrysides.Viewed from the angles of the inherent demands of adjustments and the development of the global economy,science and technology is indispensable to the agriculture and the adjustments of the economic structures in the countrysides.They will help each other forward in the course of development.The latter must seek support from the former while the former must exert its supporting function by centreing around the targets and focal points of the latter.As far as the present situations of the agricultural science and technology in Guangxi are concerned,close attention should be paid to the following aspects:1)selecting,introducing and popularizing the fine varieties;2)enhancing the research and popularization of the necessary techniques for agricultural production;and 3)forming a new system of agricultural science and technology as soon as possible.
