冯友兰与李约瑟问题

李约瑟本人对“李约瑟问题”有不同的表述，他在很大程度上将作为近代科学的狭义科学与包括古代技术的广义科学混为一谈，也对冯友兰和爱因斯坦的相关问题产生误解。冯友兰问题和爱因斯坦问题都早于李约瑟问题而提出，并且涉及更为深刻的问题，即：数学演绎和实验归纳的逻辑方法为什么产生于西方而不是中国？冯友兰对这一问题的回答超越方法论层面，深入到“顺从自然”和“对抗自然”的基本人生取向。

Feng Youlan and Needham Problem

Needhan himself expresses ＂Needham Problem＂ in deferent ways, as a result of that he confuses the narrow concept of science that is modem science with the broad concept of science that includes ancient technology, and misunderstands the related problems raised by Feng You-lan and Einstein respectively. The problems raised by Feng You-lan and Einstein are earlier than Needham Problem and relate to the deeper problem： Why do the logical methods of mathematical deduction and exper/mental induction ar/se from the West but not from China？ The answer given by Feng You-lan transcends the level of methodology and penetrates deep into the basic life tendencies of ＂according with nature＂ or ＂standing against nature＂.
