国内外对凉山彝族军事历史尚无系统、全面的研究。本文分析了凉山彝族军事历史研究的意义；阐述了凉山彝族军事历史研究的目的、视角、方法、途径；提出了以军事理论、军事组织、军事科技、战例、军事人物、军事伦理、战争与彝族社会各方面发展的关系等方面为研究的主要内容。

Basic Approach to Profound Study on Military History of the Yi Ethnic Group in Liangshan Prefecture

Since there is no comprehensive study on the military history of the Yi ethnic group in Liangshan prefecturet,his paper opens with an explanation of the significancet,he purposet,he angle of views and approaches to such study.It further expatiates upon the main focus of this study from the perspective of the relations of all-round development in Yi society to such military factors as military theory,military organization,military science and technology,past battles,military figures,military ethics,and wars.
