The Structural Causes of Low Level Production Surplus and the Countermeasures

This article holds that the production surplus and inadequate demand in Chinese economy is a low level premature production surplus, the root cause of which lies in the deformed industrial and product structures. And the cause of the structural deformation lies in the non-thoroughness of market reform and the deviation of industrial policies. Therefore, to eradicate the phenomenon of inadequate demand, the pace of market reform must be quickened, and in the meantime, the industrial policies must also be optimized.
