修辞学：文学批评新思维

这里所说的“修辞学” ,其全称应是“叙事修辞学” ;它一方面继承了从柏拉图到韦恩·布斯的有关叙事技巧的传统理论 ,一方面大量吸取了以法国结构主义文论为主的有关叙事研究的新成果。与传统的文学理论相比较 ,它有两个显著特性 :一是其理论前提设置的抽象化 ,二是其研究对象的本体化。这也是叙事修辞学用来从事修辞技巧研究的两大智慧性策略

Narrative Rhetoric: New Thinking on Literary Criticism

Narrative rhetoric was a branch of the most active formalist criticism theories in the 20th century which has inherited traditional theories concerning narrative techniques on one hand and absorbed some latest academic results in narrative study from French structuralist literary criticism on the other hand. Compared with traditional literary theories, narrative rhetoric is chiefly characterized by its abstract theoretical premise and its noumenal object of study, which are its two wise tactics in the study of rhetorical techniques.
