| 摘 要： | 先秦时期，美尚未赢得独立存在的地位与价值，审美也在很大程度上带有感性化、生理享乐化的特点与趋势，而孟子不仅明确地将审美从人的感官之乐引向了道德领域，而且最早对人格美及其层次作出了明确的价值规定与区分。孟子将道德审美同人类所具有的潜在的理性与心理需求联系在一起，并把审美融入了道德人格的培养，这样，孟子将人的生命从一种动物性的存在，提升到了道德性的精神存在，从而突出了人格的主体性，使其人格美论具有永恒的价值与魅力。现代人在实现其对主体意义的重建、确定人生存的内在根基、超越物性束缚时，应汲取孟子人格美论中的思想养料——人格意识、自律意识、超越意识等。

The emphasis is put on the modern value of Mencius' view about the beauty of personality, such as personality awareness, sense of self_discipline and transcendency. |
