Analysis on Phonological Charm of the Words Used in Short Messages of Mobile Phone

The short message of mobile phone is the product of information age. It is the symbol of highly developed technology. The mobile phone users are in favor of short message because of its cheapness, quickness, delightfulness, privacy, humor and rhyme. People express good wishes, pressure of life, distress of defeat and awkward situations into humorous "words in air" through short messages, to release their pressure. The words used in short messages usually are concise. They are homophonic, or metaphoric, or humorous, or jocular to make people happy. It is of important practical value and realistic meaning to study the new linguistic form. To analyze the phonological charm presented by short messages, this paper emphasizes the rhyme and repeated syllable so that people can use them even well and make them the bridges of minds.
