试论孙中山与新文化运动的关系

新文化运动期间,孙中山对新文化运动的态度可以分为三个不同的时期:新文化运动前期缺乏对运动的关注;“五四”期间认同了“廓清愚昧,启迪理智”的运动宗旨;“五四”以后关注运动并对运动中的某些做法提出了自己的见解。而孙中山自始至终没有参与到新文化运动中去,更多的是以一个“局外人”的身份来观察、分析、评判新文化运动。

On the Relationship Between Sun Yat-sen and the New Culture Movement

Sun Yat-sen's attitude towards the New Culture Movement developed.He didn't show much concern for the movement at its first stage and yet accepted the tenet of "clearing up blindness and enlightening intellect" during the May 4th Movement,and kept a close eye on the New Culture Movement after the May 4th Movement,offering his own opinions on some practice in the Movement.Sun Yat-en was not fully involved in the movement from beginning to end.Instead,he just offered his own observations,evaluations and judgments about the New Culture Movement as an outsider.
