论自由主义的道德承诺

自由主义在强调人的自由的同时,也将善恶的选择权完全交给了个人。事实上,自由主义放逐了德性。因此,道德边缘化是自由主义的必然逻辑结果。所以,在20世纪中叶以后,西方社会开始关注道德问题,许多人批评自由主义的"原子式的个人主义"对道德的消极影响,主张在自由主义"元规范"的基础上积极寻求社会的道德共识。但在宗教日益衰落的现代西方社会,要在自由主义的框架内走出这一道德困境,必然是困难重重。

On the Moral Acceptance of Liberalism

Liberalism bestows the right of choices on the individuals while it emphasizes the liberty of human being.In fact,Liberalism exiles the virtues.Then the marginality of morality is the inevitable outcome of Liberalism.Therefore,after the middle period of the 20~(th)century,western society began to pay close attention to moral problems.Many people criticized the negative moral effect of the atomic individualism of Liberalism.They advocated looking for the moral commonsense of society on the basis of metanorm.But western society will meet great challenge in the process of going out of the moral dilemma within the frame of liberalism while the religion is declining today.
