| 摘 要： | 翻译是为了促进各国各民族间的相互理解.翻译过程中会出现必然的意义丢失与补偿,文化差异是造成这一现象的主要原因.文章引用一些英汉、汉英翻译的实例,从词语、句子和篇章三个方面分析了翻译中意义的丢失和补偿手段.

| Abstract: | Translation promotes understanding among different countries and nations. In the process of translation,it is inevitable to appear meaning loss and compensation. The cultural difference is the main reason that causes this phenomenon. With some examples of English-Chinese and Chinese-English translation introduced and discussed,this article analysizes the loss of meaning and the ways of compensation from the aspects of word, sentence and discourse. |
