试论中国实学文化的普世性

明清实学既是中国儒家学说发展到某一历史阶段的学术思潮 ,又是当时一个特色鲜明的学术流派。在中国文化的历史长河中向前追溯 ,宋明、汉唐、甚至先秦文化中就有实学文化的基因 ;向后延伸 ,在清末民初 ,以至近现代的文化中都可以看到实学文化的重大影响。所以我们说实学又是中国传统文化中一种基本的价值倾向 ,有其逐步形成、发育、成熟的过程 ,并且对中国文化的发展起着导向性和激励性的作用 ,这就是中国实学文化的普世性价值。

On the Generalization of Chinese Practical Science Culture

The practical science of Ming and Qing Dynasties is not only the academic ideology of Chinese Confucianist theory that has been developed to some historical stage, also at that time a characteristically-bright academic school. Traces back to the Chinese culture in history, in Song Ming, Han Tang, even in the pre-Qin culture, there has been the gene of practical science culture; Extended to the late Qing dynasty, even to the near modern culture, all may see the significant influence of practical science culture. Therefore we said that the practical science is also a basic kind of value tendency in traditional Chinese culture. It has a process of gradual formation, growth and matures, and tends to function in leading and stimulating the development of Chinese culture.
