| 摘 要： | 城市精神是一个城市的内在气质和根本价值追求。城市精神具有历史性和传承性特征,是一种民族精神、时代精神和人文精神,具有张扬城市个性的异质性特征。城市精神有五大功能：动力功能、导向功能、凝聚功能、融合功能和约束功能。城市精神的塑造和弘扬的基本途径在于：科学把握城市精神的提炼原则,强调化育城市精神,大力加强城市公民意识的培育,加快城市法治化的步伐,强化城市精神的时空意识,加强城市文化建设,加强城市形象建设,等等。

| Abstract: | Spirit of the city is a city＇s temperament and the fundamental pursuit of value.Spirit of the city and the heritage of the historic features of a national spirit,and human spirit is flamboyantly heterogeneity of personality characteristics of the city.Spirit of the city has five major functions：power function,direction function,functional cohesion,integration capabilities and constraints functions.The basic way of promoting the spirit of the city is ：to grasp the refinery principle of city spirit;to stress the genesis of city spirit;to strengthen the urban civic awareness cultivation vigorously;to accelerate the pace of urban rule of law;to strengthen the spirit of the city＇s spatial and temporal awareness;to strengthen construction of urban culture;to strengthen the city＇s image-building;and so on. |
