| 摘 要： | 西周穆王喜爱游猎,但又不荒废政事。周穆王西征,加强了与西方诸部族之间的物质文化交流,人员往来,进一步巩固了西周的宗主地位,意义深远。穆王在位期间,平息徐、楚、越的反叛,制定刑典,是一位深谋远虑、有所作为的君主,且又是一位重感情的天子。

| Abstract: | Despite the fact that he was fond of hunting, The king of Western Zhou Dynasty spent much time on political affairs. The king's conquering the west enhanced material and cultural exchange as well as people's communication between Zhou and the western tribes, and strengthened its suzerainty. During the reign of King Mu, the rebellion of Xu, Chu and Yue was put down, criminal penalties were set. Therefore, King Mu was considered to be forethoughtful, successful as well as sentimental. |
