| Abstract: | The performance of the high resolution direction-finding techniqe based on the spatial spectrum estimation will he severely suffered with mutual coupling between elements in arrays. In this paper, the mechanism of the performance degradation due to mutual coupling is analysed, and a new method of mutual coupling compensation is proposed. Computer simulation results show that the method is efficient and easy to be implemented. |
