人性教育:全球化时代的教育使命--兼论《学会生存》中的一个重要思想

《学会生存》之所以被誉为人类教育思想发展史上的里程碑,非常重要的一个因素是将世界范围内政治、经济、文化、教育的分析与人性特点的分析相联系,在充满时代气息的人性分析基础上提出了教育的目标，《学会生存》中一个极为重要的思想是：人类存在着“共同的人性”,“教育的使命”就是帮助人们找出共同的人性,而找出共同人性的目的是为了追寻人性认同的民主、平等、自由、科学理性等真善美普遍价值.全球化进程中的人性教育使命,一方面是在类层次上进行真善美人性和人类普遍价值的教化;另一方面,则是对人性力量普遍拓展而又独具个性的守护,这种守护我们不取“神人之约”、宗教信仰之人性理论的思维方式,而靠世俗性的中华民族精神形成的基本原理和实践动力.面对全球化振荡,要保持中华民族精神,需充分发掘和利用作为人性教化的＂心性文明＂之中华文化资源.

Nurturing of Human Nature as an Educational Mission in the Globalization Age --A Key Idea in Learning to Exist

One of the most important reasons why Learning to Exist is hailed as a landmark in the history of human pedagogic thinking is that it connects the analysis of global politics,economy,culture and education with that of human nature and thus points out the aim of education.A key idea in Learning to Exist is the significant recognition of shared human nature,and the mission of education is to help people find the shared nature,the true essence of which lies in the search of the universally recognized human values such as democracy,equality,freedom,science and rationality.The great mission of nurturing human nature in the globalization involves not only the enlightenment and civilization of human beings as to the human nature,human principles and human values,but also the protection of human potentials characterized by global extension and unique features,which depends not on theism or religious belief but on the Chinese national spirit.Confronted with the global upheaval,it is essential to fully exploit and utilize the Chinese cultural resources as 'the mental civilization' to uphold the Chinese national spirit.
