制度与社会平等

制度是人们基于一定社会的物质生产状况、社会关系状况和思想文化状况所制定的行为规范,是外在规范性要求和内在规范性认识的统一。社会平等根源于一定的社会生产和社会关系状况,以社会成员的对立性为前提,以社会民主为保障,具有具体性和历史性的特点。社会平等要以一定的制度规范表现自身并以此为条件,制度对于社会平等的作用,在于能够提供一种独立于主观意志之外的客观准则,培育人们的平等意识,消除人们之间的对立。制度的人性化和人的制度化的过程,与社会平等关系发展的进程是根本一致的。

Institutions and Social Equality

Institutions are behavior standards based on the material production conditions, social relations, ideology and culture of a certain society. It is the unification of the external demands of standards and the internal recognition of standards. Social equality, with independence of the social members as prerequisite, originated in the certain social production and social relations of a society and guaranteed by social democracy, is concrete and historic. Social equality should be manifested by certain institutional standards and should take certain institutional standards as the prerequisite. The function of institution on social equality is that institutions can provide an objective guiding principles independent of man's will. Therefore, equality awareness could be fostered and the antagonism between people could be eliminated. The process of the humanization of institutions and the institutionization of people is essentially consistent with the development of social equality.
