On the Establishment of the Learner-centered College English Class

The general trend of the economics internationalization demands us to change the teaching principles and methodology in order to follow the development of standard for college students. Learner-centered English methodology, which is popular in the international academic field, is an efficient way to develop the students' listening and speaking ability. This thesis illustrates the establishment and organization of learner-centered class systematically and also lists some hot problems which regularly appear in learner-centered class. At last, the author emphasizes the importance and the ways of how to divide students into several groups. The traditional role of teacher also has to be changed in the learner-centered class.
