鬼方种族考

鬼方是殷商至西周时的一个强大方国。关于它的地望及与周边民族的关系等问题，经过多年的探讨，大多已有定论。唯鬼方的种族问题，少有人提及。笔者经多方考析，大胆立论，提出鬼方及其后裔赤狄是印欧人种的观点，以期推动早期东西文化交流史和山西古代史的深入研究。

A Research of Guifang Race

Guifang was a strong state from the Shang Dynasty to the Western Zhou Dynasty. The problems about Guifang＇ s location and the relation between Guifang and other tribes have been discussed for many years and many of them resolved. Only the problem about Guifang＇ s race has not been mentioned. By analysis and bold verdict, I have put forward the view that Guifang and their descendants--Chidi are are from Indo-European race. This conclusion can promote the more profound research on Eastern and Western cultural intercommunication, and ancient history of Shanxi Province.
