课堂互动在学习者语言发展中的作用

摘    要:本文以第二语言习得研究领域具有广泛影响的Long的互动假设和Swain的输出假设为理论出发点,探讨了课堂互动在促进学习者语言发展中的作用。基于西方在课堂互动方面的研究成果,本文认为在我国目前的大学英语教学中,要培养学生的英语综合应用能力,特别是听说能力,英语教师不仅要改变教学模式和转变教学理念,更重要的是要对课堂教学的实际过程,即课堂互动给予足够重视,并在课堂教学实践中探索哪些类型的课堂互动可能最大限度地促进学习者的语言发展。

Abstract:Having two influential hypotheses in the field of second language acquisition(SLA)-Long's interaction hypothesis and Swain's output hypothesis-as the theoretical point of departure,this article explores the role of classroom interaction in learner language development.Based on the findings of the research on classroom interaction in the west,it points out that in the current Chinese College English teaching and learning,in order to achieve the goal of postering learners' comprehensive ability in English,particularly their ability in speaking and listening,teachers need to atter a change in teaching models and ideas,and what's more,they should pay sufficient attention to the actual classroom processes,that is,classroom interaction and try to find out what kinds of classroom interaction may maximally facilitate learner language development in classroom teaching and learning practices.
