改进测试制度构建新的大学英语教学及评估体系

文章针对目前我国大学英语教学界普遍存在的应试教育现象,指出其主要原因是"CET4、6"考试制度本身偏离《大学英语教学大纲》教学目的,以及仅仅作为全国范围内的一门特殊课程的课程考试的初衷所致。分析了语言教学与测试以及测试中效度与信度的的关系,提出通过改进现行"CET4、6"考试体系或设立新的大学英语教学体系,使大学英语测试恢复其课程考试本来面目,构建新的大学英语教学与测试体系,并最终提高我国大学英语的教学水平的改革思路。

Improving the Current Testing System and Formulating A New College English Teaching and Evaluating System

This paper points out the main cause that accounts for the current test-oriented education in college English teaching is that the system of CET4&6 diverts from College English Teaching Syllabus, being taken as a special examination of a special course In China. By analying the relationship between English teaching and testing, the validity and credibility in CET4&6, the paper puts forward a suggestion on the improvement of the current system of CET4&6 or the formation of a new college English teaching and testing system in order to resume the original feature of English course and enhance the teaching quality.
