| Abstract: | Based on the synthetic analysis and detailed discussion of the semantic meanings,structures,characteristics,types,rhetorical functions and relationships existed among English adjectives,participles and transferred epithet,this paper will take up the corresponding questions of the commonly used English-Chinese translation methods.While focusing on probing into some questions of understanding and the principles of truthful,clear and coherent translation,the author will put forward his own points of view. |
