| 摘 要： | 希罗多德广泛搜集史料、不拘一格批判史料,具有求真意识,从而开创了西方史学,他的著作也在政治、思想、文化、道德等方面体现了巨大的经世作用。《历史》是“求真”与“经世”的统一,希罗多德无愧于“史学之父”的称号。

| Abstract: | People have different opinions about Herodotus.I think that Herodotus possessed the spirits of pursuing the truth because of gathering materials extensively and criticizing them by various means,which created western historiography.His work shows great social function in the aspects of politics,thought,culture and moral." History" is the unity of pursuing the truth and social function as a whole.Although there are some shortcoming in Herodotus' work,he deserved the title of "the Father of Historiography" |
